rtl_request_traps() with rtai?

Hmm, good question, I don't really know, since I don't use RTLinux. =8] 
 
The sourcecode, I am working with, AFAIK uses soft-interrupts for setting 
breakpoints. To install the needed breakpointhandler the RTLinux-version of
this 
sourcecode uses the function "rtl_request_traps". 
 
If I set a breakpoint in the RTAI-version, the running task is suspended
with the 
following message:

task

Is there a way, to install an own Trap-Handler?
