Hi,
I'm (still) trying to load RTAI modules, but I always get the same error
I'm using rtai-3.2 and linux-2.6.9 with hal-linux-2.6.9-i386-r9.patch. The
patched linux kernel
boots just fine, and the make install of rtai gives me no errors... BUT when
I try the ./run script or to load a
module manually I always get the same errors...
-1 Operation not permitted
or
-1 Unknown symbol in module
I do everything as root.
I tried to gain more information with strace, and this is the output...
.....
create_module(umovestr: Input/output error 0, 0) = -1 ENOSYS (Function not
implemented)
....
init_module("ELF", 0x5ad3) = -1 EPERM (Operation not permitted)
...
or
....
create_module(umovestr: Input/output error 0,0 = = -1 ENOSYS (Function not
implemented)
....
init_module("ELF", 0x5b3a) = -1 ENOENT( No such file or directory )
....
ELF is linked statically into my kernel. I'm basically stuck!
What am I doing wrong? Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance.
Salvo
