Absolutely, at least 120% sure. ;)

It's hard to diagnose such problems remotely. So you will not be able to 
avoid playing a bit with versions and parameters. As you now know that 
already the adeos patch makes your driver fail, you can concentrate on 
probing different kernel and adeos versions. That should only take some 
time for compiling. Already tested your driver against 2.6? If not, 
start with latest 2.4 adeos patch.

The alternative is to debug the problem at kernel level, taking adeos 
into account.
