Ciao,

magma should have the support for 2.6.11 now. I finally found a bit of
time to care of a few pending things, contributed by non DIAPM people,
including:
- a new scheme for Linux signal handling from Bernd (Suessmilch),
- most of what was needed to run 2.6.11 from Jan (Kiska).

See the ChangeLog.

Things are becoming annoying on the testing side, as there are 2.4.xx
and 2.6.xx dependencies plus pre/post 2.6.11. Add i386/x86_64, SMP/UP
piped/immed/dont-dispatch-interrupts. Thus you might understand that I
do not have any will to loose my life in testing all combinations. It is
much more amusing to go on in developing all the new stuff I need for
real here at DIAPM.

So use the i386/x86_64 CVS as it is (i.e. no dispatching of interrupts
in i386, immediate mode for x86_64, ARM a bit lagging behind), only with
the modified ADEOS patches found in it and care just of Linux versions
and UP/SMP stuff.

Contribute you own checks please (this stimulus is not directed to a few
friends that are known to care helping anyhow, anticipated thanks to them)

I take this chance to ask if there is anybody willing ot take the burden
to overhaul the PPC stuff in magma. I think that it might not be just a
loss of time.

Paolo.
