RTAI Basics -- some doubts

Hi,
   I have gone through your website and am have understood the following.

   i just want to know if i am correct.


  1) RTAI is some kind of a patch that you make use of - when appied to the
      standard linux kernel.

   2)  Whether RTAI works with ARM (OMAP OSK 5912)

   3) What changes i need to do for sound and networking drivers to
work with RTAI



     Actually, i have an audio streaming application. it does not work
as expected with linux becuase of schdeuling uncertainities.



  I am looking for different alternatives. can any one suggest if RTAI
is suitable or not ?.
