strange behaviour

Hi,

I installed RTAI some month ago on several pc.

Since then I observed the following strange behaviour (without 
running any application):
  a permanent high work load (e.g 6)
  from time to time the pc crashes (freezes) without any (obvious) 
reason
  from time to time the pc reboots automatically without any 
(obvious) reason
  sometimes it needs 2 or 3 times to boot the pc (automatic reboot 
while booting)

I am using RTAI 3.1 with kernel 2.4.25 on one pc (Suse 9.0) and 
kernel 2.4.8.1 on another pc (Suse 9.2).

Do you think it is a hardware problem or a software (maybe Suse) 
problem? Or both?
What is your experience?
