[Rtai] Symbol version dump ... Module.symvers is missing

Hi..

I am new to real time linux.
And am using ubuntu 6.06 LTS, installed from the emc2 cd (or was it a dvd).

I have downloaded the rtai showroom examples from cvs.
When i do 'make' i get this error:

"WARNING: Symbol version dump
/usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.15-magma/Module.symvers is missing;
modules will have no dependencies and modversions."

There is a /usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.15-magma/Module.symvers file.
But its filesize is 0.

I have looked on the internet for a solution, but i can not figure it out.

How can this problem be solved ?
Where do i start ?
