Hi, I'm trying to put a RTAI aplication in a LiveCD. I've configured the kernel (squash, union, etc) and tested it on an AMD Sempron and everything runs correctly. When I tried the LiveCD on a Celeron I get big (90us) latency and when I run the calibration tool I get LATECY_8254 -14000. What I'm doing wrong?
I've compiled the kernel for PIII procesor (to be compatible with most computers).
Can I make a kernel with RTAI for different procesor family?
What does -14000 mean in the calibration tool ?
Thanks Federico
I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book.
