OK, I'll do ASAP.
In any case recall that you can simply download the patch related to
2.6.26 from GNA and use it with 3.7-test1 immediately.
Take also into account that in any case there is no need to stick to
the kernel of your actual distribution.
You should be free to do what you like in that regard. Just by way of
example I routinely run 2.6.25, and 2.6.28.2 as well, on a machine using
SUSE-9.0 who had a 2.4.21 kernel when it was installed on my (very) old
PIII 1 GHz, 512 MB.
The result is not different from what I see on another machine of mine
using ubuntu-8.1, which should be close to your Lenny.
