[Rtai] FW: flush serial buffer

Hello, 

I have a problem using  rt_spclear_rx(SERPORT); and rt_spclear_tx(SERPORT); to flush the serial buffer, I can still see that previous data is still there after using the rt_spclar instructions.

Does anybody know how to clear the serial port buffer using RTAI?
