There were some heavy changes in the way that interrupts are processed
within the kernel between 2.4.18-rmk and 2.4.19-rmk (to be more specific
2.4.19-rmk5 and 2.4.19-rmk7). RMK backported the interrupt processing stuff
from the 2.5.x kernel tree (please correct me, if I am wrong here). I guess
you have to use a >= 2.4.19-rmk7 kernel here.
